Prodigal is a Colorado-based roastery founded by Scott Rao, author of The Coffee Roaster's Companion, and Mark Benedetto, a Q-Grader and former chef. Their focus is light roasting that brings out clarity, sweetness, and origin character, using high-scoring lots from Ethiopia, Kenya, Colombia, Honduras, and Costa Rica, including rare Geishas and Cup of Excellence winners.
